TRAVEL LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By registering for and participating in the Hearing God in Greece retreat (the “Trip”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that international travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, accidents, theft, transportation delays, political instability, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, and other unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in this Trip.
2. Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Jenilee Samuel, Imagine Media, the Hearing God in Greece retreat, and any affiliated hosts, team members, contractors, or representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liability arising out of or related to my participation in the Trip, including but not limited to claims of negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3. Independent Contractors
I understand that hotels, airlines, ground transportation providers, tour guides, and other service providers are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of the Released Parties. The Released Parties are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or defaults of these third parties.
4. Medical Responsibility
I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in this Trip. I understand that I am solely responsible for obtaining adequate travel insurance, including coverage for medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, and cancellation. I acknowledge that the Released Parties do not provide insurance coverage of any kind.
In the event of illness, injury, or emergency, I authorize necessary medical treatment at my own expense.
5. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of my participation in the Trip.
6. Force Majeure
I understand that the Released Parties are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, airline changes, or civil unrest.
7. Binding Agreement
By completing my purchase, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to this Liability Waiver and Release of Claims.
8. Required Travel Insurance
I understand that comprehensive travel insurance is required to participate in this Trip. I agree to purchase and maintain my own travel insurance policy covering, at minimum, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, and cancellation. I acknowledge that it is my sole responsibility to research, select, and secure appropriate insurance coverage prior to departure.
Failure to obtain adequate travel insurance does not make the Released Parties liable for any loss, injury, delay, cancellation, or expense incurred.
Completing the form & registering indicates that I agree to the Travel Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
